The Municipality of Casselman is seeking to establish a Standing Offer with qualified contractors for the rental of heavy equipment with operator on an as-needed basis to support municipal operations and infrastructure maintenance. This Standing Offer will allow the Municipality to retain the services of one or more contractors to perform electrical work on an hourly rate basis, as required, over a specified period. 

The intent of this Standing Offer is to streamline the procurement process for routine, urgent, and seasonal work requiring specialized equipment. Equipment may be used for activities such as snow removal, ditching, excavation, grading, hauling, flushing, vacuuming, and other public works operations. 

Contractors may submit pricing for one or more types of equipment, including but not limited to: 

- Hydraulic and wheel excavators (with or without attachments)

- Backhoes, loaders, and dump trucks.

- Flots, trailers, and specialty commercial vehicles.

- Hydro excavators, camera inspection units, and other specialized equipment.

All equipment must be provided with a qualified operator, and pricing must include fuel, maintenance, and insurance. Contractors may also provide rates for special attachments (e.g., O-Ram, bush hog, mulching head) as additional hourly charges.

This opportunity is open to contractors with the capacity to respond to service requests within  the Municipality of Casselman in a timely and professional manner.
